Satellite pendant - medium

Mathieu Matégot | GUBI

Designed in 1953, the Satellite pendant light combines geometric and organic shapes to create a striking sculptural aesthetic. The perforated metal shade casts a luxurious mix of light and shadow, making it a dramatic pendant lamp ideal for both homes and commercial spaces.

Product Information
Description
Satellite demonstrates Rigitulle, a technique invented by the designer himself that makes it possible to bend a fabric-like metal sheet to create an elongated oval shape. When hung alone, the Satellite lamp sits well as a statement pendant, or can be grouped together in multiples to create an atmospheric display.

Designer Mathieu Matégot chose the name Satellite to pay tribute to the scientific progress in France in the years after the Second World War.
