Taking a poetic approach to contemporary design, Inga Sempé has created the Matin light for HAY. The dimmable table lamp combines a robust polished brass base with a lightweight cotton shade, which is available in a range of vibrant colours.
With an integrated LED light source, the Matin lamp emits a diffused downlight, which can be adjusted by means of a digital in-line dimmer.
French designer Sempé is known for creating pieces with a lightness of touch, strong personality and a particularly tactile nature.
Materials
Lamp shade in cotton fabric laminated to a PVC sheet. Lamp base in bent steel wire with a polished brass finish, precision cast steel counter weight with black injection moulded ABS hardware. Digital inline dimmer switch and cable are black for all colour variants.
