Product Information
Description
The Maggiolina chair resulted from a competition held by the MoMA of New York, inviting designers to create an inexpensive, easy-to-dismantle armchair. Combining a tubular steel frame with burlap ‘pockets’ into which plywood and padding could be inserted, Marco Zanuso pioneered a brand-new method of construction, in addition to creating a highly stylish and comfortable chair.

Tailored for the modern age, the Maggiolina lounge chair is produced by Zanotta using quality materials and techniques that guarantee longevity. The chair pairs the appeal of traditional craftsmanship with the advancements of the industrial age, making it a popular choice for modern homes and executive offices alike.
