Product Information
Description
Founded in 1947, Treku is currently run by the third generation of the Aldabaldetreku Family. The factory is located in the small coastal town of Zarautz in the Basque country, a well-known village in the XVI century due to its woodworking tradition for the naval industry. The Treku of today is the lovechild of yesterday’s experience and tomorrow’s ideas, where technology and above all woodcraft live together day by day.

Designed by Jean Louis Iratzoki, Kai is a furniture system that is characterised by a harmonious blend of solid wood and different materials such as coloured lacquer and even marble. High-quality materials are combined with a range of modern elements. The personality of each individual piece will depend on the elements used to create it, with a wide range of styles available, from the more open to the more functional, and from the more colourful to the more sober and restrained.
