A compact lounge chair that offers a relaxed kind of comfort. It takes inspiration from the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and the idea of creating a floating Tatami chair.

 

Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using 100% natural and sustainable materials.

Description
The design is three monolithic vertical wooden pillars that are configured to support two upholstered cushions and two horizontal arms. The upholstery sections are made to be as simple as possible to manufacture. They are essentially structured pillows with wooden internal panels. 

Materials
Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using 100% natural and sustainable materials. With a frame made from FSC plywood and FSC european ash. Upholstered with elastic webbing, latex and coconut fibres and recycled wool felt.
