Designed by Greta M. Grossman in the 1950's, the Cobra Wall Lamp takes its name from the snake’s hood which is coyly resembled by its oval shade.
Swedish born Grossman was greatly influenced by European modernism and the Bauhaus movement, developing a design language which would underpin mid-century Californian Modernism. Her signature aesthetic is reflected by the lamp's simple, soft-edged form – at once paired back yet striking.
