Featuring a seat suspended by cables, the Citizen high back armchair offers a new way of sitting. The swivel chair is ideal for workspaces and lobbies, as it combines comfort and ease of adjustment with a stylish streamlined form.

Description
Likened to sitting on a large cushion, the Citizen chair can be adjusted by the sitter almost unconsciously. The seat enables a pleasant swinging movement, while the backrest is firmly attached to the steel frame. This dynamic sitting position is complemented by the slender cantilever frame, which is mounted on a swivel base.

Designed by Konstantin Grcic for Vitra, the Citizen armchair is honest and unpretentious. An exposed metal frame and minimal areas of upholstery give the chair an optimised appearance with a sporty flair.

The swivel lounge chair is available in highback and lowback versions, offering options suitable for many contracts environments such as public lounges and lobbies. The Citizen chairs are available in a choice of fabrics and leathers, and with a neck pillow in matching or contrasting material.

Materials
Frame: tubular steel, powder-coated in deep black (textured finish). Back: support shell in rigid polyurethane foam, encased in moulded polyurethane foam. Neck cushion: filled with a mix of 50% polyester fibre and 50% ball fibre. Seat: metal inserts, encased in moulded polyurethane foam. Suspended on by means of three steel cables, cathodic dip coating in black. Cover: fabric or leather. Base:  four-star swivel base made of tubular steel, powder-coated in deep black (textured finish), plastic glides with felt inserts.
