The inspiration for the Castle pendant came not from a stone fortification, but instead from the game of chess. The striking pendant light by Jason Miller for Roll & Hill combines metal and glass in a choice of finishes to opulent effect.

Description
The Castle series comprises modern chandeliers of differing size with glass rods at intersecting angles. These can occasionally resemble the turrets of a castle, but in fact, refer to the movements permitted of a rook on a chessboard. The rook can jump any distance, yet it is restricted to moving orthogonally. Likewise, the glass in Castle varies in length but is always horizontal or vertical.

This light is made to order by Roll & Hill and produced in the USA.
