425 Torroja cross
David Weeks
The Torroja series of lamps is named after Spanish structural engineer Eduardo Torroja, whose extended hyperboloid forms, for the roof of Madrid’s 1935 Zarzuela Hippodrome, inspired the shape of the aluminium shade.
Simple in aesthetic, yet engineered by design. The Torroja Cross features a plated frame and tiers, with shades that rotate, casting light up or down. The number and length of tiers is custom to each light, and the arrangement is adjustable, based on client specifications.
- Tiers (as standard) - L 132 / 165 / 193 / 208 cm
- Shades - L 47 Dia. 10 cm
- Minimum height - 28 cm
